Phalanx Biotech Group Annotation Pipeline Shows Human OneArray’s Excellent Interrogation Power.

In an effort to investigate how to generate a more complete probe set, a probe annotation pipeline has been developed using the whole genome as a reference set. Analysis of available human gene expression microarrays indicates increased probe density does not correlate with increased gene coverage or interrogation power.
The annotation pipeline was used to evaluate probe sets from several different sources. Probes were assigned to six different categories based on their alignment to the whole genome. The breakdown for the probe sets investigated (Figure 1)

Can I use Corning® Microarray Hybridization Chambers with OneArray?
Spot says: Yes. The Corning Microarray Hybridization Chambers are fully compatible with Human and Mouse OneArray whole genome microarrays.
What target controls can I use with OneArray?
Spot says: Both Human and Mouse OneArray contain control probes for monitoring your labeling, hybridization and scanning. These include Ambion ArrayControl™ RNA SPIKE #1~8 on both products. For more information on these and other experimental controls, please visit our products page.
Can I adapt my current protocol for use with OneArray?
Spot says: Users have had great success in adapting their established hybridization protocols for use with OneArray. The open format of OneArray is conducive to a variety of different protocols. Contact our technical support team for help in adapting your protocol.
