Human and Mouse Whole Genome OneArray probe annotation update. The probe annotation for HOA and MOA has been updated in keeping with the most recent Ensemble update. Please visit our annotation downloads site to obtain the most recent probe information.
Phalanx Biotech launches new website. Phalanx Biotech has launched its new website featuring:
A more user-friendly home page
Easier access to gene lists and probe annotation
A growing list of satisfied customers
Expanded customer support site, including experimental controls, troubleshooting guide, and FAQs
Please have a look. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions.
Phalanx Biotech Hosts OneArray Express Kick-Off meeting at Oklahoma State University. On March 12th, with the help of Dr. Peter Hoyt, Director of the Oklahoma State Microarray Core Facility, Phalanx Biotech officially kicked off its OneArray Express Partnership with the Oklahoma State University. The event, attended by approximately 50 scientists, included a vendor show and talks from representatives of Phalanx Biotech, Pressure Biosciences®, and BioMicro®.
Phalanx Biotech launches new OneArray Express partnership with Ocean Ridge Biosciences. We are happy to announce a new partnership with Ocean Ridge Biosciences, a research reagent and services company based in Jupiter, Florida.
Phalanx Biotech is hiring. Phalanx Biotech Group has immediate openings for recent PhD graduates for Technical Support Representatives/Application Scientists. We are seeking energetic and “people friendly” individuals with microarray expertise who are inspired to develop a career in biotech sales and marketing. Email your CV to spot@phalanxbiotech.com or fax to 650-320-8488.
How do I prepare my OneArray microarray for
hybridization?
Spot says: It is vital that the pre-hybridization protocol is carefully
followed to prepare OneArray™ microarrays for hybridization. See the latest version of the OneArray User Guide on our Support page of the website for detailed
instructions. Failure to properly complete the pre-hybridization protocol may
cause high background signal intensity and result in lower quality data.
I have identified a relevant feature: what is the gene?
Spot says: Our Web site contains the most up-to-date versions of
OneArray™ microarray annotations. Please visit our annotation downloads
site. For each microarray, we provide the following files:
Probe Annotation File (*.paf), which provides the Ensembl ID and description of
the corresponding gene’s function.
General Feature Format (*.gff), which is the genomic coordinate file.
These annotation files are updated regularly with every release of the Ensembl
database—approximately every two months.
I am experiencing heterogeneity in my signal; what are the possible causes?
Spot says: A picture is worth a thousand words. Visit our troubleshooting page to see images of some of the common problems and to find solutions. Alternatively, contact our friendly technical support staff, who are happy to help guide you to a successful microarray experiment.
Try our human or mouse OneArray whole genome microarrays or gene expression profiling service. If you are not completely satisfied, it is free.
We challenge you to try OneArray whole genome microarrays or hybridization service and experience for yourself the Power of OneArray.
