Product Description
RNAstable® enables you to store total RNA and poly(A) RNA samples at room temperature for months. When you are ready to use your samples, 100% of the RNA can be recovered in 10 minutes or less and then used directly in downstream applications. RNAstable saves time, energy and costs associated with conventional cold storage methods.

Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer electropherograms are shown on the left and an agarose gel on the right. Results do not indicate any appreciable degradation of samples stored in RNAstable for 29 months at room temperature 25°C (Figure 1B & Figure 2 Lane 2), as compared to -80°C freezer control samples (Figure 1A & Figure 2 Lane 1), and with the accelerated aging (Figure 1C & Figure 2 Lane 3) at 45°C. Accelerated aging of 29 months at 45°C is equivalent to RNA stored in RNAstable for 12 years at 25°C. The unprotected control stored at 25°C degraded after 3 months.
