OneArray® miRNA qPCR Service Features

  • OneArray miRNA qPCR profiling is available for any species with miRNA sequence data. We have extensive experience with the TaqMan stem-loop reverse transcription method.

  • The entire workflow includes RNA QC, stem-loop reverse transcription, reference miRNA/small RNA testing, TaqMan assays, and data analysis.

  • The stem-loop RT method uses general stem-loop primers during reverse transcription to target miRNAs. Specific TaqMan assays are then used to quantity the miRNA targets-of-interest. This system can discriminate between miRNAs that differ by a single nucleotide.

  • Traditional reference miRNAs/small RNAs such as U6 might not be suitable in all experiments. We will identify suitable internal controls in your experiment by measuring the expression of a group of candidate control miRNAs/small RNAs. The most stable miRNA/small RNA will be used for normalization of your miRNA targets-of-interest.
