Benefits of SimpleSeq™ Sequencing Kits:

  • Simple Sample Preparation
      • SimpleSeq DNA sequencing service includes 96 SimpleSeq tubes and 96 DNA sequencing reactions. All tubes are 1D & 2D barcode labeled, and have split seal caps. You can add your sample directly through the seal. It closes up as you remove the pipette tip, minimizing the chance of introducing contaminants into your sample. You only need to place your sample inside and they're ready to go.
  • Simple Online Ordering
      • SimpleSeq reactions can be used online one at a time or in batches; rest assured, your reactions never expire. There are 3 flexible order entry options: 1) place your order using an online order entry form, 2) copy & paste your order from a word processing document or spreadsheet, or 3) use a spreadsheet template to upload your order. Let the online wizard do the rest.
  • Simple Sample Processing
      • Unique barcode identifiers on each tube are used to track your samples using Geospiza GeneSifter™ Lab Edition software. Its seamless integration with the online order entry and retrieval system enables error-free transfer of sample information from start to finish. In addition, this software manages the entire sequencing process from liquid handling, thermocycling to capillary electrophoresis. DNA sequencing is performed using Applied Biosystems™ 3730xl DNA Analyzers, and BigDye® Terminator v3.1 chemistry ensuring that you get the longest and most accurate read from your sample.
  • Simple Results Retrieval
      • When your results are ready, you will receive an email with a online link to your DNA sequencing results. Not only can you quickly and conveniently download your results from a secure website, these results are stored in your Order History for at least 6 months. To access results from any SimpleSeq reaction, click on the Order History option in the My Orders menu. Click the Show Details button on the order you wish to view, and follow the instructions to download the results for that order.
